Momentum: An Experience Full of Twists and Turns!
The diversity of digital arts in Montréal is truly astonishing. Each work, presentation or performance opens the mind to reflection, criticism or simply contemplation. Momentum offered exactly that kind of experience: surprising, playful and full of rebounds. Created by emerging artists, the
work
invited the public to interact with movement, image and digital mechanisms.Theaudience did not remain passive; it became part of the event and influenced what unfolded. The piece showed how digital
art can transform a simple gesture into a visual or sensory reaction. Through interaction,
- visitors were encouraged to
- test the system, observethe results and understand
- the relationship between their own bodies

and the artwork. The result was both accessible and thought-provoking. Presented in the context of Printemps numérique, Momentum reflected the energy of Montréal’s new generation of creators. It demonstrated that innovation can be serious without losing
its sense of play, and that digital creativity can bring people together through curiosity, surprise and participation.
