an essential Montréal institution.TheSociété des arts technologiques occupies a unique place in the city’s landscape and is a cornerstone of the digital ecosystem. It offers a wide rangeofactivities, fromimmersive audiovisualperformances to workshops on creative software such

as Ableton Live, Max

MSP and TouchDesigner, as well as urban cinema evenings. Founder and artistic director Monique Savoie unveiled the new program with her team, saying that the evening would present what was in the oven and almost ready. The season promises eclecticism and a crossing of boundaries. Audiences will be able to explore VR technologies and Arduino microcontrollers through Campus SAT workshops, and experience the unique 360-degree dome.Performances include the duo Jane/Kin with video artist Myriam Boucher, from May 16 to 19, and Music Legacy Project, from April 11 to 28,an interactive work inspired by cultures of South andCentral America. Created by composer Brian d’Oliveira, this project involves some 80 instruments from his collection, three live musicians and one dancer. From May 30 to June 3, the

2017 edition

of the Symposium dedicated to immersive experience will bring together artists, designers, researchers, developers, producers and digital enthusiasts around the theme of dematerialized spaces.
