Call for Applications: 2021 Youth Recognition Awards in Digital Literacy
Montréal, March 15, 2021 — During Mois numérique Jeunesse, the sixth meeting of the intersectoral and interregional roundtable on digital literacyin Québec was held under the theme “How can we
reach young
people during a pandemic?” The meeting announced thesecond Youth Recognition Awards in digital literacy.
- Institutions, organizations
- and companies that are
- members of the
roundtable
- are invited
- to submit projects in education, citizenship
or
culture. The first edition
- in 2020
- recognized Kids
- Code Jeunesse,
- CMTL – Mouvement montréalais
Les
Filles & le code and Uhu labos nomades. Eligible projects mustwork
with
youth audiences and present a digital literacy initiative. Applicationswill be reviewed by experts according to originality, quality
of
execution, project impact
and
the ability to reach young
people during the pandemic. Applicants must complete the form and send a representative photo of the project. A
- jury of professionals will award
- prizes to three winning organizations during MTL connecte: Montréal Digital
Week, from
October
12 to
17,
2021.
