MTL CONNECT 2022: MONTREAL DIGITAL WEEK

The 4th edition of MTL connecte took place from October 15 to 23, 2022 at 7 doigts, Montreal and online.

The main theme was ECO(SYSTEMS) OF HOPE.

The main constant in this latest pandemic remains change. Adapting, modifying, transforming to suit an upturned reality, challenging our thought patterns and perspectives. This crisis has set in motion a collective process of unprecedented scope to find solutions. Inevitably, some of the answers have come from digital technology. The theme of MTL connects 2022, ECO(Systems) of Hope, is an invitation to imagine the actions we must collectively undertake.

We’re asking ourselves what it means to make the transition to a prosperous future, and what path technologies should take. The pandemic was perhaps just a symptom of the fragility of our civilizations. The collapse of the living world could be another. Today, it is imperative to imagine digital ecosystems that will enable us to adapt and open up the horizons of possibilities for tomorrow’s world.
