Equipping Teachers for AI: Looking Back at Printemps numérique’s Participation in AQUOPS 2026

took part in the 44th AQUOPS
conference, held from March31 to April2, 2026 in Québec City, to present the workshop
- “IA &
- Toi: A Ready-to-Use
- Entry Point into AI Education.”
- The session,
- led by Agathe
Paigneau and
Leticia Lacroix, introduced an accessible, concrete and responsible approach for teaching artificial intelligence. It presented IA &
- Toi,
- a platform
- designed to
support teenagers and equip teachers
with turnkey activities,
- critical-thinking resources and classroom-ready tools. Participants explored how to integrate AI education into Culture
- and Québec Citizenship, computer science, social studies, French and other contexts. A participatory
workshop invited
teachers, pedagogical advisersand technopedagogy specialists to design 60-minute
classroom
activities. The session highlighted the importance of making responsible AI education accessible, stimulating and confidence-building for school
