Montréal, March 25, 2019. Inspired byMontréal, the first edition of Printemps Numérique in Brussels took place at KANAL-Centre Pompidou and welcomed nearly

5,000 visitors. Free educational activities allowed people of all ages, from beginners to specialists,

to discover digital technologies through exhibitions, augmented-reality experiences, coding sessions and video-game creation. The inaugural concert

combining artificial intelligence and classical music quickly sold out, with more than forty musicians from the Brussels Philharmonic performing

AI-generated compositions inspired by Beethoven, Stravinsky,John Williams and Hans Zimmer. Rudi Vervoort welcomed the success of the event, which created a space for dialogue around high technologyandmade artificial intelligence

and digital advances accessible to a wide audience. Thestrong

public responseconfirmed therelevance of this collaborationbetweenBrussels

and Montréal.
