Chromatic for Families: 5 Free Digital Activities
In response to the popularity of its family section, Chromatic is bringing back its formula for children and adults. The4th edition of Chromatic Junior takes place under the sun this weekend. In addition to dance, craft and collage activities, Chromatic Junior celebrates digital art. Here are five free digital activities not to miss at Hangar 16 in the Old Port.

p.m. to 5 p.m. Video-game fans will enjoy this workshop for ages 7 to 12, an introduction to programming. Choose the character’s look, the setting and even the background music. It is an original way to explore art and mathematics. Bio
Electro Sounds, May
21 and 22 from 11 a.m.
to 6 p.m. Who said you were not allowed to play with food? Discover Bio Electro Sounds, a unique electronic instrument made with fruits and vegetables. A singing orange, a percussive mushroom, a strange banana: this is your chance to play organic music.

a.m. to 6 p.m. Young authors, here is the chance to create a first book. Chromatic offers a creative reading experience with the Fonfon interactif apps. You can record your voice, choose animations, sound effects, prerecorded narration and interactions to tell your story. Storyteller Elyse Désilets will tell children the story of the impatient Reine Et-Que-Ça-Saute and guide them as they create their own pirate story. The workshop begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on
Sunday.
